Women in leadership positions
We are focusing in particular on increasing the percentage of women in management. In accordance with Section 76 (4) of the German Stock Corporation Act, Volkswagen AG has formulated targets for all companies as a basis for orientation. We want at least 20 percent of management positions to be held by women by 2030.
As at 31 December 2024, the percentage of women was 19.4 percent. In order to achieve the 2030 target, we have formulated annual milestones for all companies.
In addition, we want to increase the percentage of women in the entire company to 27.5 percent by 2030.
