Principles
In its over 75 years of existence, Porsche Holding Salzburg has built up an excellent reputation. Social responsibility and high ethical standards have made Porsche Holding what it is today: the largest and most successful European automotive distributor.
As a company with operations around the globe, compliance at Porsche Holding means that employees not only abide by current law but also adhere to a set of moral principles that go beyond merely observing the law. These principles have been set down in the company’s own Code of Conduct [PDF]. Naturally they apply to all levels of the Group and to all countries where Porsche Holding operates.
Our values
For Porsche Holding, compliance with all applicable laws and internal regulations is a fundamental principle. Equally important is acting properly and responsibly towards the company, our business partners and society. This includes consistently adhering to the right principles and values.
Porsche Holding defines four pairs of values that shape our corporate culture:

What is compliance?
Compliance means observing all applicable laws, regulations and internal rules. Compliance defines the legal framework and aims at preventing infringements before they happen.
What is integrity?
Integrity means doing the right thing on the basis of one’s own personal conviction – acting responsibly for the company, for business partners and as a member of our society.
Binding standards
Integrity and compliance are not merely traits our company aspires to – we consider integrity and compliance to be essential components of our corporate culture.
Acting with integrity and complying with regulatory requirements are not simply standards we set for the company – integrity and compliance are an integral part of our corporate culture.
For this reason, since 2023, integrity and compliance have also been embedded in Porsche Holding’s Sustainability Strategy within the “Governance” focus area.
Our vision is to establish strong and clear corporate governance structures that provide the necessary framework for responsible environmental and social action.
The focus area aims to improve coordination on sustainability-related topics across the different areas of the company and to establish binding standards, integrity and compliance as the foundation of corporate conduct and decision-making processes.
In this way, the activities of the various specialist departments are linked even more closely. Topics such as integrity and compliance, risk management, internal audit, legal affairs, data protection and information security are brought together within the overarching framework of sustainability.Further information can be found in the Sustainability Report, focus field 7 “Governance”.
